Dr. Albana Berberi

PhD Candidate, Co-Supervisor: Dr. Steven Cooke

Sept 2020 – present

I am a Ph.D. student researching human-turtle interactions in Ontario’s freshwater ecosystems. This project is supervised by Dr. Nguyen, co-supervised by Dr. Cooke and further assisted by Dr. Bulte. Prior to studying at Carleton, I completed an M.Sc. in Environmental Sustainability at the University of Ottawa, and a B.Sc. in Behaviour, Cognition, and Neuroscience at the University of Windsor. My research interests include multiple disciplinary approaches to species conservation, as well as community science and outreach. When my research hat is off, I am usually found reading, painting, or exploring a new hiking trail.
