PhD Candidate, Co-Supervisor: Dr. Steven Cooke

Jan 2020 – Present

I’m a M.Sc. student whose work revolves around the social and ecological components of Canada’s inland fisheries, which includes management, stewardship, and fish physiology. I’m co-supervised by Dr. Vivian Nguyen and Dr. Steven J. Cooke, and I’m a member in both of their labs. I’m interested in building more resilient freshwater fisheries, and motivated by the connections I’ve seen form—and barriers that I’ve watched break down—due to peoples’ common interest in fish.
