Dr. Andrew Howarth

Post-Doctoral Fellow

Jan 2020 – Present

I’m a postdoctoral fellow whose current and past work primarily involve the socio-ecology of Canadian freshwater fisheries. This includes research on fishery use, fisheries management and conservation, and even fish physiology and spatial ecology. I’m a member of both the Social Ecology and Conservation Collaborative and the Fish Ecology and Conservation Physiology Lab, and I’m interested in how socio-ecological research and practice can create more resilient fisheries and help manage wicked environmental problems.
